These are Ms. Ortloff’s expectations for your behavior and attitude in her class.

  1. Be Prepared.
    1. Have your homework done and ready before class starts.
    2. Bring the appropriate materials with you to class.
  2. Be Responsible.
    1. Do your own work.
    2. Be organized.
    3. Be on time.
  3. Be a positive member of this class.
    1. Participate in class discussions.
    2. Be cooperative in group work.
    3. Share your ideas.

Consequences for Unacceptable Behavior
  1. Verbal Warning
  2. Removal from class or movement within the classroom OR loss of personal property for the duration of the class period OR loss of credit on assignment or test
  3. Removal from class OR personal meeting with the teacher
  4. Detention
  5. Notification of parents
  6. Meeting with parents, student, and administrator
